Total Console Repair Limited (TCR) is the largest independent games console and iPod repairs centre in the UK, based along the South Coast of Dorset serving private, insurance and corporate customers.
TCR was founded by two brothers working out of their basement in 2003 and was incorporated as a limited company in 2005. It grew up quite naturally alongside its old sister company Total Disc Repair Limited (TDR) who specialise in supplying machines to fix damaged DVD's and Games. By March ‘08 the company had to move for a second time to larger premises and had gone from the two brothers to over 25 members of staff.
More recently in February ‘09 TCR had a second floor added in to the factory due to the company rapid growth and the need to once again double its sizeable work area. TCR now have on average 50 highly trained technicians and support staff on site every day dedicated to the repair of games consoles and iPods. The workshop 'cell' teams consist of very well selected technicians that have undergone detailed company training to bring their work to the required level. They ensure every single console is repaired, tested and cleaned to our TCR benchmark quality standard.
