I tried to warn people that this might happen. Auto-assigning teams doesnt remove one-sided teams or anything approaching it. Like we established in a previous post about this, most people who voted for forced random admit they only want to "remove the fear in some people's heads that one team lost because there were more fm! players on the other team".
But I guess we all learn the hard way. Teamfortress 2 isn't a counterstrike game.
And I repeat, like or not, good TF2 players like to play as a team. And when you play as a team you make friends. And some friends like to play together on the same team. TF2 should promote this, not make it very hard or impossible to achieve.
I don't think any good tf2 player would choose to play on the public server in its current state. Why would they ?
And just cos a load of people vote for forced random, doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing for promoting good play and teamwork. If anything, it seems to have actively discouraged it.
