Problem with FM Servers, or just a few people?

Iv been steam message by about 20people today about them trying to get onto FM servers, and it saying "error verifying steam ticket"

i tried to get on myself and same thing...

i can get onto places like via and ukcs no probs :/

This is a steam error that happens every so often, totally random, when you log into Steam your details are verified using Valve servers, if those servers are busy or cannot be contacted you get this message.

I have had it as well.
It seems like something changed on the FM servers causing the authencitation server not being able to verify people's Steam ID.

Deleting the ClientRegistry.blob file fixed it for me.

The ClientRegistry.blob file is located in the main Steam folder.

i removed it and it doesnt let me join any server now

pretty sure they have tryed that :/

after deleting it you should restart your steam so it allows you to download the clientregistry again.. and after that it should be working fine..
in the steampowered forum it says there is 3 things you need to delete, but mainly its the clientregistry thats the problem.. but if that doesnt work go to the link above here.. and check out which other files to delete before retrying..

lol forgot to say you need to shutdown/restart steam before/after deleting.
Mainly cus that seems a logical thing (to me).
