Constant accusations I will mute for too, its demo or no complaints here at FM.

For the record it wasnt me that muted, but if it was as Deek said the admin did the right thing and attempted to keep a more lighthearted atmsphere on the server.

Either way, all you have to do is rejoin the server to be unmuted, not make an appeal, unless it is ph33r himself that adds you to the perm mute list (which is very rare).

Doesnt warrant an appeal, close please.

Lately there have been a handful of retards on Office who spam on the mic or make constant accusations, and when they get muted they complain even more and of course act like a victim.

I wish I could mute you and the likes of you for longer then till they rejoin the server (so yes this mute wasn't me either but I wish it was me) since those are the players who you do not even want to have speaking rights on the server, they destroy the whole atmosphere and keep me busy whole evenings.

I think we should try and diffuse the situation with players, and let them know what is acceptable before issuing any admin action (including mutes)

After all, it is office newbies, and most people there have played for a long time, but a few who are new to FM and / or to CSS may not know. IF apoc was causing a problem for sometime now for regs to be annoyed, can someone supply demos next time, so a course of action can be taken with conclusive evidence.

I personally ( i know other admins are not me) like to use admin chat to warn players to modify behaviour before issuing any admin commands on the player. Even if the player ignores you, but stops, its a battle won

That is my usual approach Garner, but at some point I have had enough like most people.
Especially if they keep coming back evening after evening still not having learned a thing and thus doing the exact same thing... at times my hands are itching to ban such people (not that I have done that tho).

And in this case, the guy claims to have done nothing which shows he hasn't learned a thing... I have never seen any FM admin take action when it wasn't needed (except some stories about Baha), who do you trust... admin or some player claiming to have done nothing wrong like all the others where action was taken against?

I would have waited with the un-muting till the admin that muted him shows up tbh.
