ok u wanna hear the context ? its easy. i cannot understand how a serveradmin can install a skinhead-mod for a open server that seems to be quit popular. brings me to the point that i wonder how young these admins are. its not funny and its not very clever. makes the younger gamers think its funny runnin around with a skinheadskin and for me its no joke at all. reminds me of mr. prince harry and his nazisuit. and i am againt all kind of racism and neonazism. if this means i am not welcome on that server, well i can live with that. i was there for rapier anyway. rapier u can tell that to the guys from fragmasters if u want. i will not.

well the guy that took the pic only took my last comment. not what i said before. and it was the same like i posted here. "white pride - world wide" thats what on the back of the shirts. but hey, i have a idea. why not also put a "black panther"-skin on server, would like to play with that. may i remind u that kids play this game. and its not cool to run around as a skinhead. but maybe my last comment was to harsh. its just a game. for me this is done, but i will not excuse myself. but a fragmasteradmin can meet me on irc if he wants.

I see, dont worry about nazis's or skin heads, at the end of the day the game is about terrorist blowing up things and keeping hostages, think about it, at this day and age there are world wide terrorists, blowing up innocent people like in London for example. Now by playing the game your acting like a terrorist and having fun, dont you think thats disturbing, like everyone is againts terrorism and then were playing this game?? i think we shouldnt worry about the skins, and the nazi suites or the skin heads, its just a game!

i can see the point of view that it would be offensive, but bear in mind you are playing a game, and also yes "children" do play this game (viper for example :P) but i dont think hes about to go on a killing spree. Games can only affect people if they are already VERY impressionable, and if they are they are going to be effected by other more invasive media, like television.

I seriously disagree with most of the comments here, but I do think the issue is quite complicated.

I think a game where people represent 'themselves' online is very different to a game where you play the part of of somebody in a fictional setting, like in GTA3 etc. That said I don't think any mainstream game would exist allowing you play an Islamic terrorist or nazi planting and setting off bombs and taking hostages.

I think in an online game where we all interact it is extremely dangerous to glamourise groups like Islamic terrorists and white supremacists etc. simply because there is no clear fictional distinction in CSS - our names are not censored, neither are our voices or what we say. I've met (online) enough nutters playing this game to consider this an irresponsible road to go down.

I'd also guess that if the media or authorities got wind of the situation you would be closed down pretty fast.

I don't think it's got anything to do with being a killjoy, or anything to do with political correctness. I don't want to have to wonder whether or not the people I am playing CSS with are either racists or extremists. I won't be playing on your excellent server if these skins continue to be used.

Becuase i agree with the statment that it is indeed only a game and people are themselves whether they are extremists or not. This wwill not effect my being or i ruly doubt it would effect even younger players. It is how the person is brought up in effect the parents fault if they are extremists or whatever. It is like blaming gta for increased crime.

i appreciate both sides of the arguement here, but i agreee (more so :P) that video games do make people do stupid stuff and its things like the media etc that make these fanatics that do horrible things, and stuff like this is what effects people, video games DO have an effect on people, as does the media look at the columbine massacre, kids influenced by movies and games. sadly u wont see me on ur server with skins like that no offence an all but i dont stand for that kind of stuff
