I wouldn't (gonna get seriously philosphical now)...

Reason being dyeing is what makes us human - it's what drives us to do things, it's what makes us look at the universe in the way we do, and without death we would have no concept of what life is - humans are essentially difference machines (think thats the right term) in the way we perceive, process and react to the universe, so without death there would be no life (in the same way as without evil there would be no good, without dark there would be no light etc etc)...

Being immortal doesn't mean living forever, it means never living at all... My favourite quote on this philosophical question is definetly the one from Babylon 5 -

"Humans believe love is eternal - but if you live forever you know that everything comes eventually to dust... You should embrace that remarkable illusion - it may be the greatest gift you have ever been given."

if you wood live forever you wood get MAD. a lot of humans cant live 50. 40 even 20 years but to live forever too witness all the pain in the world we just cant do it, and imagine if super power countries like America or Russia found out that there is a man who cant age cant die. what do you think they wood ask you to drink some tea? it wood not be living it just be forever suffering.

p.s.s many ppl believe that we live forever............reincarnation.
