Another philosophical thread o.O Dont read it if u dont like philosophy.

Who wants to be immortal?
Yes it sure sounds cool immortal never dying, but think about it.

If You were offered the chance to live forever, would you take it?
You would be around for all eternity, you would never be able to die no matter what happens. You dont have any super powers except you just cant die.

So even if you wanted to die you couldnt. But you will be able to witness all the wonders of the future.

Would you trade a mortals life for an immortals life?

Yes, i would be on eternal rampage and kill every single person and then flying through space and kill the next civilization and so on and so on.

what if the police apprehends you and you get sentenced to Life in Prison ?? that wudn't be much fun considering how long ur life is 8)

Idd it is, but consider this, if you get shot 100 times and u dont die they might suspect ur not one to go down easy 8) so what if they restrain you ?? or put you in the "box" or whatever they call it. Your not super strong or anything.

p.s forgot to add this to the first post, but as you trade away for an immortal life you stay the same way you are as when u traded ur life. This means you never age, so you will always look the exact same.

Well i would just enter a millitary zone and steel nuclear weapons or fire them against everywhere, problem solved.

It totally depends on how you mean by immortal. Immortal as in, you cant die full stop, so you age and get weaker, but never die, or like, immortal from this day on so you stay the age you are now, or immortal as in you can jump off the empire state building, land on the floor and get seriously ****ed up or land without a scratch or what. If it was within a certain set of those circumstances, I might do.

what happens if the earth is no more.. and you vegetate in the universe as a lone soul.. traveling trough the space.. nottin around you ?

doenst matter if you staay at your age or fitness .. or you getting older or weaker.
i dont know, if i would like to life forever.. see all the madness and live all the madness.
we onlineusers like the fact to life in the cyberspace. here we feel a bit more safe. forget about the wars and cruel outside.. we just flee from the reality, because we know, everybody in our cyberspace e.g. here at this forums wishes nottin more than peace around him.. except the fact we like to frag. but at least we rage virtually, we plant bombs virtually, we kill each other virtually... just for the reason to encounter YOU again, and have the fun again.

here we see... we are all the same. be honestly

the differences are harmless.

I would love to.

The main reason being simply to see how the world changes in centuries to come. Only thing that would put me off, is seeing close friends and family passing away.
