This is one thing that defo needs to be changed, dustbowl server has a 6pm restart aswell and it takes server around 2 hours to re-populate I do not understand why not just set a 5am restart? I know last ciggy is full most of the night but dustbowl server is empty around that time.

Yeah I agree with that Danny, when server restarts takes a bit of time to get people back on, maybe a 2-3am restart for it.

At around 4-5am would be the best time imo, it kinda empties out then a bit anyway.

To be fair, if the server reset then it loses some people (as many dont rejoin). If you restart at a popular time, more people will rejoin, and so the server fills again quicker.

If you restart at a low-number hour then few people will rejoin, and will probably leave when they see how few are on the server, thus emptying it...

Well like I said, tf2 servers are empty at 5 in the morning so restarting it then makes no difference and london galore restarts at 5 in the morning currently anyway so I don't know why it isn't the same for dustbowl. Last ciggy does have people on all day and some of the night emptys by around 5 or 6 in morning anyway so restart it then before people start joining again.

Your theory regarding people rejoining at an earlier time when more people are on is wrong as look at the dustbowl server when it restarts at 6 in the evening it takes an hour to even get 20 people on again.

its just a shame that most people arent logical, so they dont do what they should do
