lag probs

well here goes...... i have big lag problems just now on 1.6 + css, css is pretty unplayable but can manage on 1.6,what im wondering is if my crappy comp could be causing it and if i upgrade it will it make a difference etc etc

1. Call your ISP helpdesk to have them do a line-test
2. Try to find newest drivers
3. Make a backup of your files + reinstall windows with newest drivers
4. Get new PC if all of the above fail to help! ^^

thanks natasha,ill try all of the above as my local computer shop has said i can root around in his spare parts so maybe just get new pc

Try the first 3 things first, cose they are free ^^

Never hurts to clean the inside of the PC also, when you reinstall.
Dust can cause some strange/hard to find problems too.

And a clean Windows install does miracles too!
