Need 30gb+ mp3 player, reccomendations please :)

I'm looking to get a new mp3 player, mainly as something to occupy myself on the journey to and from manchester everyday!

I want something 30gb or more and under £200, looking for sound quality over touch screen shite and other gimmicks. Gonna buy a good pair of headphones on top as well.

I've had a look around on the web, but keep getting mixed reviews on stuff and could just do with some recommendations from people really

I just use a 25 euro 2GB player from a brand I have never heard about.

My dads got that sage, its pretty good tbh. I fancy something new though really, but most of the new stuff i've seen doesn't seem to go over like 16gb :S i like the look of the sony players, and they are meant to be 1 of the best for sound quality, but again, they dont go over 16gb. I was originally going to get the new creative x-fi 32gb but wanted to see if there were any better options available.

Really dont fancy getting an ipod. Really dont like them or the shite itunes software.

buy a laptop then u can have music + sumthing to use while u travel to n frm manchester

and you can do all kinds of work on it

Can't really afford a decent laptop tbh, well I can, but I don't really wanna blow all my money which is supposed to last me till like january xD

dusnt have to be good as its only a music+typing thing so u just need sumit basic u cud prolly pic a nice second hand 1 up for like £250-300

you could look at zune's

there is an 80gb one that isnt available in the uk yet, and you could probably find it elsewhere for a better price, the problem with the zen vision m's is that they have stopped producing them (i believe) so finding one could be tricky.

you can use winamp with ipods, and im sure theres a plugin for foobar (if u use that)
