HIJACK!

Quickly lads, a girl I know has said her music on her external keeps messing up, so I said her external HDD is probs broken as her younger siblings smash it on the floor all the time (lol), she scanned it with HDTune Error Check and it was all green.

So is it broken beyond repair or what lol?!

With an external HDD's and the dropping of it usually means contacts in the casing get lose or break.
So you need to open it up and check that out.

I would go that sibling and say "hey lets play external hdd" and smash the ****er around like it did with the hdd...

I've aleady backed up all my stuff on an external, so when the replacement drive comes, hopefully tomorrow, i will just drag it off onto that =D

Tip:

I use O&O Defrag 11, and O&O CleverCache 6 too keep things in order.
