K# warriors Remember....

Welcome to the FM! Keyboard warriors Remembrance Group.
A short look back at the turbulent history of this Ill fated (fun) clan.
set up one fine spring morning during March 2008, the Keyboard Warriors was meant to be a little corner for Players, who didn't wish to dedicate there lives to games could go and have fun. Set up by ph33r and under management by Kris, the future looked bright for this rather unusual twist of ideas. Membership requests began flying in, and after only a week or so the 'original 8' had been formed with the likes of Kris at the helm and other players like Security making up the numbers.
Then the clouds gathered over K# warriors as almost 2 months past with no activity, another 3 new members joined 2 of which where Garner and Duke Nuckem. But still nothing happened, new posts on the forum started, but without any replies from the guys in charge.
Then on evening of the 20th April 2008 Duke Nuckem was informed That Kris had left the K# Warriors to turn pr0. Duke Nuckem was then subsequently offered the position as the only active member of the Team. He accepted ph33r's offer on the condition that he could have Garner as his assistant mainly for server side operations.
The next day Duke and Garner started a campaign to revive/rebuild the stricken Team, setting up new recruitment pages, trying ideas, and generally trying to give a new lease of life to the fun clan. The Idea to play fun games like volleyball and Ka_soccer were used as incentives, the new management even tried to set up a TF2 side to the clan. Interest began to grow. In the final weeks TF2 'friendly' matches were set up as a final push to bring interest into the clan, but unfortunatly after months without any success the plug had to be pulled, The FM! Keyboard warriors fun clan died 24th may 2008 at 11am, gone but not forgotten. It was replace by yet ANOTHER CS:S clan fm! Fusion, under the command of Garner. No one apart from him Knew of Loss of this much loved fun clan, the K# warrior was buried along with it's tag, avatar and theme tune. On the 25th of may 2008. R.I.P

When I think about the K# Warriors, I don't think of just another unsuccessful clan. I think of an idea way ahead of it's time, a concept so juicy that there was no way to extract it all. A revolution in the way that people play games. Many may view this as a failure, I view it as an absolute success, this will be a perfect example on which to improve upon. This was a bold move by ph33r and Kris to take this on, but to give up and at the beginning, can only be classed as unforgivable, a missed opportunity.

however I' am proud to announce the Keyboard Warriors remembrance day on 24th of may every year starting from 2009, on this day every member of this group must wear the tag on their user name in game with pride, and must change their spray to the K# Warriors avatar, and finally and most importantly must play the K# Warriors theme (the opening theme tune to space 1999 link here: http://www.space1999.net/moonbase99/mp3/y1/1999.mp3 ) during any knife or pistol round, in both public and matches.

I have begun a case again ph33r to bring back the ill fated K# Warriors, but I feel this may be as ill fated as the fun clan itself.

this is a public group for anyone who had any connection to the group, thats anyone from ex-players to anyone who noticed it in the forums.

Thank you for your support.
