Relevant info. Often this is accompanied by a CPU temp overheat message (definitely not that). I can be half way through doing something like gaming or work and it shuts down, no warning or post error messages. Its obviously something to do with the wires but I cant find a loose connection. I can weeks or days without this issue. Does it less when on its side. Does it more if stood up.

    Long time bro ^^
    How you been?

Check the ports where the wires are connected, the clips might be bent?
Might be why it only turns on when the wires are in a certain position.

Hmmm yeah that would make sense I guess. Somebody suggested the motherboard might be shorting out, for example if a screw is loose or something??

It could be that too, If I were you I'd unplug everything and check every screw then one by one put everything back in making sure nothing's loose.

lol, doing that while under voltage XD

you could try to change the power supply cables for your motherboard. otherwise change all the cables.
If you turn the pc on, does it start normal?
